Full-Body MRI Screening

Whole-body MRI (no ionizing radiation), often marketed Prenuvo-style, scanning head-to-pelvis to screen asymptomatic clients for tumors, aneurysms, and other conditions as part of a preventive longevity workup.

Evidence

experimental

Whole-body MRI can incidentally detect serious disease, but there is no evidence that screening asymptomatic people improves lifespan, and high false-positive/incidentaloma rates drive downstream harm; major radiology bodies do not endorse it for the general population.

Regulatory notes

European Union
MRI is a regulated medical device requiring a licensed radiology facility; population screening of asymptomatic people is not endorsed by EU radiology societies and sits in a wellness/self-pay grey zone.
United States
FDA-cleared MRI hardware, but the FDA and ACR caution against whole-body screening of asymptomatic individuals; sold self-pay, not reimbursed.
United Arab Emirates
Requires a DHA/DoH-licensed imaging center and radiologist; offered self-pay, commonly at premium clinics.
United Kingdom
Legal via CQC-registered imaging providers; the UK National Screening Committee does not recommend whole-body MRI screening.
