What published research says about wellness IV drips
Do vitamin IV drips boost energy, immunity, or recovery better than food and oral supplements? Drip bars market fast hydration and micronutrient boosts, but the evidence for healthy adults is thinner than the menus suggest.
Wellness IV drips are widely marketed for energy, immunity, and recovery, but rigorous trials in healthy adults are scarce. A placebo-controlled pilot of Myers' Cocktail in fibromyalgia showed mixed results, and reviews note only small studies for named formulas. Outside diagnosed deficiency or dehydration, IV vitamins have not been shown to outperform oral intake.

Questions to raise with any iv therapy provider before booking. We do not answer these on your behalf.
- Which ingredients and doses are in the drip, and who prescribes and supervises the infusion?
- Is each injectable product licensed or supplied as an unlicensed medicinal product in this country?
- What screening do you do before infusion (for example allergies, kidney function, or G6PD for high-dose vitamin C)?
- What adverse events have you documented, and what emergency equipment is on site?
- Does your published menu price match what you charge for this specific protocol?
