The Autoimmune Clinic is a London-registered functional medicine and nutritional therapy practice that works entirely online, seeing clients across the UK and internationally over Zoom. It was incorporated in 2018 (Autoimmune Clinic London Ltd, Companies House number 11572654) and focuses on autoimmune conditions, gut disorders such as SIBO, IBS and IBD, MCAS and histamine intolerance, mould illness and CIRS, thyroid health, Lyme disease and long-standing unexplained symptoms.
Care is led by clinic director Muriel Wallace-Scott, a BANT Registered Nutritionist trained through the Institute for Functional Medicine (AFMCP-UK), the Kharrazian Institute, the Shoemaker CIRS protocol and SIBO Doctor. She works alongside Claire, a BANT Registered Nutritionist with a Master's in Nutritional Therapy and LifeCode GX nutrigenomics training, plus a practice administrator. Both practitioners are registered with the CNHC.
The clinic works in 3 and 6 month packages rather than one-off appointments, starting from £745 plus VAT. Packages include a 90-minute initial consultation, 45-minute follow-ups every 3 to 6 weeks, personalised diet, lifestyle and supplement plans, and email support between sessions. Laboratory testing and supplements are charged separately, and a free 15-minute discovery call is available to check fit before committing. No GP referral is required, and the clinic does not bill private insurers directly, though clients may be able to reclaim nutritional therapy fees through their own policy.

How is it July already?! Whilst many of you are welcoming the summer months with open arms, for people living with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), hot weather can be one of the biggest symptom triggers. Heat causes blood vessels to widen, making it harder for blood to return to

Watch out that "summer flu". Tick-borne infections are not uncommon in the UK, yet many cases go unrecognised due to a lack of awareness among both the public and healthcare professionals. Many people assume that a tick needs to be attached for 24-48 hours before it can transmit infections. While l

Here's a tip for you. If you suspect you're in perimenopause and don't seem to be improving on HRT, the answer is unlikely to be adding more oestrogen. Or if you're struggling to tolerate oestrogen and thinking about giving up on HRT altogether, hold on. Before changing your prescription, look for

One of the biggest misconceptions in healthcare, conventional or holistic, is that every symptom can be explained by a single cause. → Just find the parasite. → Just treat the Candida. → Just heal the trauma. → Just address the mould. → Just fix the hormones. If only it were that simple 🤦♀️ One of

SIBO is often considered as a bacterial overgrowth problem only, but in many cases the more important question is: Why did the overgrowth develop in the first place? Whilst SIBO can contribute to symptoms such as bloating, abdominal discomfort, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea and food sensitivities,

The best tests in the world are only useful when interpreted in the context of your symptoms, medical history, environment, lifestyle, and overall clinical picture. We support people, not lab results. We are curious: which of these tests have you had done, and did they help you make sense of your
