Treatmentexperimental

Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) Therapy

Autologous therapy in which fat is harvested via mini-liposuction, enzymatically or mechanically processed to isolate the stromal vascular fraction (a mix of MSCs, progenitor and immune cells), and re-injected for orthopedic, aesthetic, or anti-aging purposes.

Evidence

experimental

Human evidence for SVF is limited to small orthopedic and aesthetic studies; there are no controlled trials supporting a systemic longevity or lifespan benefit.

Regulatory notes

European Union
Enzymatic processing of adipose SVF is generally treated as more-than-minimal manipulation, making it an ATMP that cannot be marketed as a routine clinic service; anti-aging claims are non-compliant.
United States
The FDA classifies enzymatically isolated SVF as a drug/biologic requiring approval; same-surgical-procedure exceptions are narrow and anti-aging use is not permitted.
United Arab Emirates
Autologous adipose-derived SVF/ADSC procedures are among the more widely offered and DHA-tolerated regenerative services, though still not validated for longevity claims.
United Kingdom
Enzymatically processed SVF is an ATMP under MHRA oversight; no longevity indication is approved.
